The Craftsman Selvedge is a 9oz lightweight Japanese selvedge denim, in a 2/1 twill construction. Its tight weave is reminiscent of traditional, old-school durable workwear fabric, where lightweight denim was regarded as a heavyweight contender for its durability. Despite being considered lightweight by today's standards, this fabric is no slouch. It provides resilience through its tight weave, less susceptible to snagging, while delivering comfort and breathability whether you're laboring or enjoying leisurely warm weather. The weft interior boasts a unique twist, using a black and natural white grandrelle yarn that gives off a subtle grey shade. Despite its lightweight nature, it holds a crisp form, providing a dry hand feel attributable to its hard-twisted yarns. Made from 100% cotton, this denim will reveal beautiful fading, adding to its character. An interesting detail is the all-white selvedge ID on one side, paired with 2 stitches running down the opposite side. The jeans feature traditional workwear features with ecru contrast stitching, a misty grey leather patch, a classic button fly, and silver metallic hardware. Cut, sewn, and crafted in Canada.
The True Guy is a straight leg fit with a medium rise along with extra room in the seat and thigh that falls straight from knee to hem.
